Fitness and Nutrition Plan

Hello there Blog readers. My name is Zach Frankford and I'm a freshman at Heidelberg University. I double major in sports management and business in hope to one day work in the sports industry with top tier athletes. To be a top tier athlete takes hard work and good nutrition. This carries into my topic of eating good nutrition as well as staying on top of your fitness.

First starting off with a good plan, for example something like a 3 month one, you have set your goals of what you want to achieve and how you're going to achieve so. For example, what foods are you going to get rid of, what foods will you eat more of, what are your workout goals and how are you going to achieve this. According to Mayo Clinic, one of the first things you have to do is measure your fitness level to see your starting base. This will help so you can see progress as you go.

In the first week of it you'll start to notice some habits that you're building. This includes not eating junk food as much and eating healthier. Or maybe wanting to workout more than you wanted before. There might be some times where you wanna go back to your old self but then you'll remember your end goal and remember to do whats best for it.

Once you reach about 2 to 3 weeks you'll start realizing that the way you've changed is becoming more of a habit for you. You’ll have a harder time doing the things you used to do for example like eating junk food instead of healthy foods. Now you’ll want to eat the fruits instead of foods that have high sugar.

Once around the one month mark hits you’ll see good progress from where you started. This could be weight loss, more muscle, or even being happier about yourself and more confident. This is only the start though and you still have a lot more to achieve to better yourself.

  1. Good start. Try to formalize just a bit--and avoid using "you" so often. It isn't a problem for a blog, but you have it quite a lot. Keep your paragraphs short, just one to three sentences each. Take your time with writing and be sure to proof/revise for wordiness, mechanics, etc. And for your source, you need to say more than "according to the Mayo Clinic"--what is article title? who is the author? and if it it an internet article, why not link to it? You should also offer attribution for your images, as well.
